Picked up kids from my sister’s house. Did not badger her about politics.
Bought Steak & Shake for Me, Justin, and Allison. Bought Jack-in-the-box for Danielle. Spent $20. Could have gone somewhere better for less.
Mowed most of the lawn. I really need a new lawnmower blade. I have streaks of high grass from where the blade is torn up.
Justin had piano lessons. The songs are getting progressively harder – no more simple scales.
Took the kids to buy flowers for Mother’s day. Bought a butterfly bush, some other flowery bush, and some annuals. Bought 4 bags of mulch. Should have bought 6 or 8. Forgot to buy lawn mower blade.
Planted bushes/flowers. Place mulch around trees.
Took Justin to a birthday party. Brenda took Danielle to a different party that started at the same time.
Picked up Justin from party. Took him to his football game. He made several good defensive plays – two of which resulted in the other team blowing a hand off (he got a great jump off the ball, was quickly in the backfield. The QB for the other team tried to hurry the play since Justin was there, and fumbled. His coach told him the “Great play Justin!”
Brenda went to church. I fed the kids while she was gone, and got them mostly ready for bed.
Went to Villmish’s house. Watched an independent film called The Gamers. If you want to know what goes on at a game of Dungeons and Dragons, I would recommend the movie. After the movie, we played D&D until 1 am.
Went to Six Flags. We rode Thunder River twice to start the day. After that, we couldn’t get near it because of the line. Justin and I rode The Boss and The Highland Fling. It would have been cheaper to eat at Steak and Shake than in the park, but we ate in the park anyway.
