A Productive Day at Work

Our email server was out for a good portion of the day and miraculously my phone wasn’t ringing off the hook, so I stuck my headphones in my ear and got more programming done today than I have in weeks.  It probably means that I will be buried in support calls on Monday, but it was nice to have a one day reprieve.

I’m convinced that it is a programming truism that you never fix a bug in software without deleting a bunch of code.  It makes you wonder why the original coder put the bug in there in the first place.
