Here’s to hoping that this is the end of Cynthia Davis’ political career.  She has failed in her attempt to get the Republican nomination for State Senate.  It was a tight race, but Scott Rupp held on to his seat (technically he still has to win in the fall, but there is little chance of a Democrat winning in my district).  Rupp and I don’t see eye to eye, but at least he is not insane and only a football field to the right of me, versus Cynthia Davis who is so far to the right of sanity that you would need the Hubble telescope to find her positions.
